Wow .. I never knew that these YRF talents have to pay a certain percentage of their earnings to YRF. That's sick. I mean YRF is such a huge studio. Do they think that by giving breaks to these talents they are doing them a favor? Maybe it's like we are the ones responsible for you getting so much visibility and exposure on the great YRF platform, so you owe us a piece of your pie too. You owe it to us!
That sounds sick. Does YRF introduces these talents in the name of charity? NO. YRF makes money from even the debut movies of these talents. I am sure YRF wouldn't have to shell too much money for these actors renumeration when they debut. A debutant would hardly get a few lacs for their work on the film. YRF makes money from these movies then why do they think the youngsters owe them any amount from their own later earnings? No one is making films for charity, so why not behave like ethical business people. Shame on Aditya for having such a clause in their contract.
Adi is current day Subhash Ghai it seems. I remember reading in an old filmi magazine Mahima Chaudhary and Ghai had a fall out because Mahima had refused to pay Ghai a part of her remuneration earned from endorsements.
