Thank you for saying it how it is. 😉 Clash excuse never works and this year proved it. Earlier this year 2 mammoth releases clashed, BB and Bahuballi, both went on to become blockbusters. Goes to show that if the film is worth some quality, it will do well. Earlier here, SRK fans were boasting Dilwale will smash BM yada yada, nobody considered BM as competition. It's funny now seeing the same people making lame excuses. 🤣

BB released exactly a week after Bahubali😃. Diilwale with a wafer thin plot, with the clash, and the unexpected ruckus created by fringe elements and miscreants, is bound to have a bad run at the BO. Pretty straight forward logic, huh?

PK doesn't have a clash...BB doesn't have a clash and it came after bahubali...PRDP doesn't have a clash...keep the protest and show cancellation aside...all this films are solo release and had a excellent lifespan run...Bahubali is not in the race becos its not an hindi film...DW has a clash...its not a solo release...screens are being shared too...with a clash business gets divided in two parts...if a crap like HNY...OSO can perform...my eyes was hurting watching OSO...HNY...DW is way better than those craps...it would have perform better with a solo release...

its dubbed...thats it...its not an hindi film...
BM is actual hindi film...
BB as in BW consider as solo release only...and plus point BB came after 1week of Bahubali...i don't know anything abt protest for BB...as i didn't read any protest for BB or PRDP...the only thing i know during BB release...salman was stuck with his court cases...but it did not affect his film...

did BB and PRDP went through protest and cancellation...i don't know abt it...
but i know abt PK protest...but it was not that bad like DW...and since it was a solo release...the protest did not harm its business

I chose to watch bajirao mastani over dilwale on the opening day and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a huge fan of srk and Kajol pairing however, it didn't give me the hype it should have
Therefore, we went for it and watch bajirao mastani and decided on watching dilwale online. Nevertheless i wish well for both films and hopefully they both do as well as the other.

Dubbed or not it dented business or we cross pk that was the goal had it not been there as our footfalls higher etc wom higher ten pk etc..so ye it bugs me..regarding shows canceling yes there were when Salman tweeted on yakub..posters burnt..and the pm wanted something against Salman etc..

Regarding the clash it was his decision as the other movie chose that date in start 25th was the date the other moved to the 18th then srk chose the 18th, he could have released hs other movies thst were ready then this rushed up movie rather trying to selling on ddlj ..and this isnt shettys movie style..i get you want to see the jodi no matter how..but not everyone..

Now he wants to clash once more on eid..he did last time and git lucky ekta moved or tht movie would have dented business and ce not even be in the 200cr club..

Honestly speaking I'm also not a big fan of period dramas and have always tried to be as far from them as I can but this one definitely had me glued to the screen. We absolutely loved it. We don't usually watch Bollywood films in cinemas cos not everyone is a fan of Bollywood in my family. This one is definitely worth watching. We had actually decided on dilwale but this was a great choice of movie and we were left satisfied at the end.
