First of all , let me clarify that I am a diehard srk-kajol fan and have been ever since kuch kuch hota hai...yes ddlj wasn't my first love but kkhh. anyways of the current crop deepika and ranveer r my favs...
so ... the options are like hyderabadi chicken biriyani or extra cheese barbecue chicken pizza 😳
DILWALE is not doing well and BAJIRAO MASTANI is really picking up and looks set to cross the single day collections pretty soon...
however I noticed that suddenly the failure of DILWALE is being blamed on a regional political group which coincidentally is protesting against the release of both the films...
so they are protesting against both, but the one with the veteran king is suffering and the one with a younger star is not? logic and rationality are missing in this argument.
why cant we accept that the film was mediocre? what is so wrong in this?
yes the srk kajol moments were nothing short of magical but the film as a whole sucked!...
bajirao mastani on the other hand had acting, some real acting, a script and a director who has given it nearly 12-15 years of his life conceptualising it and then making it...
lets not look for reasons other than the fact that the indian audience has started making rational decisions.
the film with the bigger audience interest is doing well, just like queen or tanu weds manu did...
and the film that thought srk-kajol Jodi ki disguise mein kuch bhi chala denge, is not...
that's it...stop making excuses guys...its okay...srk has raees coming up and the promos are superb, it wont be long before he makes a poora paisa vasool film, trust him!

If you don't criticize the actor you love how is the actor ever going to improve?Constructive criticism should be welcomed regardless of the person coming from.
SRK has been churning one crap movie after another. It needs to end.It is an insult to the audience and their hard earned money.

same here, why cant we be fans -kajol and deepika-ranveer...love both their films...? actually some of my friends were even saying that dilwale is not as bad as some people are saying, I mean come on srk-kajol is there, you don't need any one else ...but I just wish rohit worked on his script a bit more...it had the potential but somewhere he messed it up in the execution...I just so wish that he didn't...😭

Protest against Dilwale in Mangalore, where they cancelled the shows is really unfortunate. One has to oppose such behaviours for the sake of movie industry, not for Sharukh or any other individual. This violent behaviour has to be put to end. Full stop. (But I am not sure, whether it was violent. I just noticed the people with saffron shawls. But they looked empty handed).
But let us not extrapolate these incidents with performance of Dilwale. One has to admit, the other movie has content.

I don't think dilwale fans have anything to be upset about, cause I mean come on srk kajol Jodi is back, yes would have loved it had it been extended or given more screen time, cause yeh dil maange more😉, but whatever little we got, it was nothing short of magical.EmbarrassedEmbarrassedEmbarrassed
actually I am against all this name calling, taunting, wanting to put other fans down so I would not even want to make a comment on it, so when I encounter such posts, the best response is to ignore, after you have reported it ofcourse.😊

the film is working with good business even though there is protest...clash and shows cancellation is due to SRKajol...their chemistry saves the film...when SRKajol in the same frame...its just pure magic...even after 22 yrs their chemistry is still the same infact with growing age their chemistry has become even more intense and passionate...i loved the film just for SRKajol...if minus them its a typical RS film and would not have done good business...its just SRKajol magic...

the film is a international BB already...in my country Singapore...the tickets are sold out while BM is struggling...

yes shows have been cancelled, but shows of both the films have been cancelled in troubled areas but its like 1 or 2 towns, the rest of INDIA is free to attend it and trust me they are. why cant people not like a film and decide that they don't want to attend it? why just dump the blame on another? P.k too faced protests, and I think it faced a larger and more vocal protest from nearly all radical groups of all religions, and yet it turned out to be one of the biggest hits of this country. people really underestimate the ordinary INDIANS.
@bold-agree with you cent per cent.
p.s I against bans of all kinds books, tv shows, art...I really feel that if people don't agree with something they wont make it popular, and if they accept something, they will accept it wholeheartedly.i really hate the fact that 10-15 people have the power to decide what a country of a billion will watch.

The protests against BM is mainly limited to Maharashtra...outside Maha...no one really cares...so its localized and the only shows I have heard cancelled were in Pune on the first day ...for Dilwale the protest is bigger and wider and almost all over India...today it was Mangalore...yesterday it was Lucknow...the BJP goons are disrupting it everywhere for Dilwale...its much more bad for Dilwale ...
and people supporting and rubbing their hands in glee...because a SRK movie is going to flop...its not about SRK...its about the intolerance...about not being able to tolerate other's opinions ...today its STRK..tomm it can be a night club...where they don't want the girls to drink...after that it would be about Valentine's day being celebrated...this mentality shouldn't be encouraged...

Atleast the BM protestors are protesting about their history and heritage being distorted...what are the goons from BJP protesting about...about an opinion...

Personally I am against boycotting any movie because it affects the commerce and the hard work of a lot of people...but to boycott it over an opinion...when u boast of being a secular democratic country?? its a shame...more shame is the encouragement that they are getting because some are too desperate to see Shahrukh fail...well Shahrukh will fail but with his faliure the idea of intolerance will win...today its Shahrukh...tomm it can come to bite ur ass...its as simple as that..
