And this movie will crash..I don't even think it will get to 150 honestly. There's no two ways about it. Rohit Shetty is to blame completely for this. He had the actors and truthfully, they did the part...but they're just not given enough to work with.

I watched it with the most open mind and with no expectations, but the screenplay here is really terrible. But the actors can still rise above it IF they are given the chance! The supporting characters of this film get WAY TOO MUCH SCREEN TIME. No one gives a crap about King and his drug nonsense...or Sanjay Mishra, Varun Sharma and his girlfriend's story. UTTERLY USELESS. They are NOT funny. I didn't pay money to watch them either so why the hell do I have to watch them for 1+hr of the 2.5hrs film?

IMHO, RS screwed it up in trying to give everyone a big part...because as one review said, it's all good and forgiven as soon as SRK and Kajol look at each other ...but IT'S TOO SHORT...there's not enough developed there because RS just cuts to the next scene immediately. Like for example, near the end at the wedding...they're dancing but then comes the horrible King crap. WHAT is the point because it's not like Veer and Ishita know the truth about Raj/Kaali and Meera's background at the end? Just for one more fight sequence????

Kajol has the most interesting part but so underdeveloped. She does it well...she has fantastic screen presence...in my hall, people were ONLY interested when Kajol came on screen...when SRK came...but both SRK & Kajol are let down by the roles given to them. They aren't really given anything to do. Kajol's big reveal is great but then have more with it na..no, in the next scene she realizes she was wrong & realizes she loves Kaali. Cheesy is not a problem. SRK & Kajol are king and queen of making cheesy work and a lot of their stuff here is cheesy -- but they make it work. If only they were given more time and effort. If you want to make a film and sell it on their return, for god's sake give them the screen time!!!

SRK looked fantastic and he along with Kajol brought some MAJOR life into the movie. His fight scene is good...but again same thing -- his role is CRAP. There is nothing there really to work with. Still after ages I fangirled over him & his intensity...he is better here than he has been in YEARS...That being said, SRK... I DESERVE BETTER. Why do you continue to punish me for years of loyalty?

Varun is funny in parts...the Pogo-Ramlal gag is the only one that works genuinely. But he did overact in parts...the beginning was irritating and got better in second half..I liked the brothers a lot ...I think he will do well in proper comedies. But again, he also has a half-baked role.

Kriti looks pretty and does her part decently. She has no role though. Well, when SRK-Kajol are given the parts they are then there is no hope for Kriti. 😆 I had no problem with her.

IF RS had taken the 4 leads and focused on THEM and cut out the crap with Boman Irani & Sanjay Mishra, it would have been so much better. Hopefully this is the END of SRK-RS collaboration.
