Watched Dilwale.

My feeling. RS chose a wrong genre which is not his fort, romance. It was due to presence of SRK and Kajol. Because of this, the comedy which is his fort lost its punch. Romance is like ice cream; it tastes nice when you eat it slowly. RS movie is a fast food eatery, where you have to stand and eat in 5 minutes and leave. So the romance here is 5 minute date, unlike DDLJ which consumes Europe tour and half the movie. To compensate, we have visual treat like Gerua. I know, people liked both Sharukh and Kajol in the second half. Somehow, my admiration is strictly for Sharukh. (May be, I did not like Meera. I didn't feel, she deserved Kali).

It also depends where one watches RS movies. I watched CE and Shivaji (Rajni) sitting with a whistling crowd. It was so much fun. Brain automatically slept. Unfortunately, this time I was with a civilised crowd. When brain works, it is a problem.

It tries to please both RS fans and SRK-Kajol fans. In the process, both groups come out disappointed.

Awww nikki truely an amazing review u gave...u copy/pasted my emtions yaar...i felt the same way while watching srk kajol on screen...i was contineously grinning at all their scenes...n yes i might watch it twice more in cinema...cant get enough of SRK kajol...
