Just watched Dilwale and this is my honest review!

What works for the movie?

- Shahrukh Khan (not a big fan of the guy anymore as his movies in the past 5 years have pissed me off, but the guy acted really well in the movie! I enjoyed it! Been ages since i have enjoyed a performance of his! And this one I liked! (please note this doesn't mean he has done a best actor award performance, but still his character managed to touch my heart and therefore his acting was good!)

- Varun Dhawan (the guy is a natural! enough said!)

- Shahrukh Khan and Varun Dhawan's chemistry is brilliant! They make you laugh and cry! Brilliant!

- The two best friends of Srk, and Varun's best friend in the movie were funny and entertaining!

- The movie have some really funny laugh out loud moments!

What doesn't work for the movie?

KAJOL! - she didn't look good, she didn't act good, nor was her character nice, she has totally lost her touch, she has gone so white that she doesn't even look like Kajol anymore! Biggest Disappointment!

This is nowhere near DDLJ! - ok, we all know that this movie was not on the same lines of DDLJ, but still the main marketing strategy was that it is a romantic film of the evergreen Srk and Kajol! And Sorry to say thats the film's biggest flaw! SRK and Kajol have strictly average chemistry in the movie! It looked like uncle and aunty are romancing, it didn't seem like these people are the same people we once saw as Raj and Simran, I think bringing them together only ruins memories of the couple! It just didn't work! I wish their last movie together was MNIK! And just by repeating a few ddlj dialogues magic cannot be recreated! I mean come on?? they look old, Kajol has lost her touch, writing isn't that great either, they are no longer fit to play young lovers! End of Story!

Too Many Comedians Spoil the Broth - I will never get the hype around Boman Irani the guy is the biggest bore on planet earth, totally overrated and annoying, Johnny Lever is also overrated, he never made me laugh in the past either, and this is no exception!

Overall: it is an entertaining watch! But SRK and Kajol didn't work for me! I loved SRK and Varun's chemistry though! 3/5

^ur opinion, agree to disagree, I could not stand Kajol, her acting looked fake and forced, especially in the comic sequences, she looks old too, was not impressed! But I liked SRK and Varun a lot :)

so dont dishearten yourself with just these random tweets, only few of them are mostly genuine. this actually happens with most of khan films during the initial days release but then later the genuine wom (whether bad or good) overpower the trolls. the audience response on youtube is enough to prove that negativity and bashing is just a strategy by haters.
