When fans behave so intellectually high all the time in the name of SRK doing 'great' movies etc, and then the king kong just comes and does ra.one, happy new year, chennai express, jthj, or Dilwale, it gotta hit their faces hard..

Looking down upon other actors' filmography for being nonsense and then expecting everyone to praise the movies of their own favorites when it's even bigger shit, is actually hypocrisy.. Never mind, the world runs around them !!

Even I liked Dilwale and loved SRK Kajol bits in it.. Floating scenes ..

But thats the fans doing.. how is srk blamed for this and if srk fans dislike salmans masala entertainers they dislike srks too so its fine... i dont see the hypocricy in this.. not that i want to get in this ehole srk-salman discussion but aince bb even salman fans have been going on about the importance of content movies so hypocricy is everywhere.. no fandom is devoid of it

Dilwale fell a little on Saturday as collections went down in single screen circuits and the circuits it opened well barring Mysore which managed to gain . The business of Dilwale over the first two days is as follows.

Thursday - 20,85,00,000
Friday - 19,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 40,85,00,000

The second day number is still good but the performance is not good all over as it should be for a film like this. .

Dilwale Box Office Collections on 19 December: Day 2 Saturday

2 hours agoby Indicine Team82 Comments2 min read

Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale has collected Rs 20.09 crore on its second day at the box office. The early estimate that we posted before anyone else on the internet, turned out to be closest to the actual collections.

The film has dropped by around 5% on Saturday. Several centres which come under the C.P Berar circuit were affected by protests and cancellation of shows, but the film was expected to show the big jump that usually comes on Saturday. That, unfortunately, was missing as Dilwale remained flat throughout the day. The growth at multiplexes did not come.

The fate of Dilwale now depends on the growth it can show on Sunday and how well it passes the all-important Monday test. A jump of more than 20% today would be a positive sign for the weekdays. Morning shows today haven't really shown that big a jump in business. Collections are at around the same level as on Saturday or a little higher.

The worrying factor for the investors of Dilwale would be the box office performance of Bajirao Mastani. The gap which was Rs 8.2 crore on Friday between the two films, has come down to Rs 4.56 crore on Saturday. Now, if Bajirao Mastani can further close the gap, it has every chance of doing what looked impossible prior to release.

The box office game is so unpredictable that even a legend who has achieved everything that there is to achieve in the industry (and more), will be going through some nervous moments in the next couple of days. He won't lose money, economics-wise Dilwale is a safe film, but this was always a battle of egos, the winner takes it all.

Dilwale Box Office Collections

Friday - 21 crore
Saturday - 20.08 crore
Total collections - 41.08 crore

What I noticed is people are writing articles as if Bajirao was the underdog.😆
