Why didn't Srk & Aamir worked together in a film?

For 1 of the issue of filmfare in 1997, Aamir & Srk came along for the main photo shoot, they seem pretty nice together, which created curiosity among viewers that they might do a film together. But nothing happened after that. Before those remarks by them on each other, there was no enemity, now also after those verbal spats here n there, nothing big, still why being in industry for almost 3 decades now they haven't worked for any film together?

Two actors of same status can only work if one of them is generous but both Srk and Aamir are very insecure and selfish as actors. They want the longer screen time and best scenes in dono mein se koi bhi adjusting type nahi hai.

Both have worked with Salman, Ajay, Saif during that time, how come they couldn't adjust for themselves?

I want to see both of them in a movie...talent overload...Imagine the two of them in an intense scene together...but I know its never going to happen...its my loss😒

dont think so that they ever got a good script to star together, otherwise Aamir would not star with saif and Akshaye in DCH, a whole team in RDB, even 3 idiots was a multistarrer. and if we consider 90s, Aamir did have fims like Rangeela ( again a 2 hero film ), AAA ( 2 hero ) . its not that he wants the best role, which he deserves, but he has always chosen good films, with a hit and miss here and there.

coming back to SRK, again he did karan arjun, he did K3G, he did KANK, several 2 hero films where he had the worst roles , and he still did them. and again he is doing dilwale , so whats the big deal ?

To be honest, they don't seem like they would have any chemistry whatsoever. It's so strange seeing them together I don't know they seem like completely different entities. Like Coke and Pepsi.

In AAA, it's one of those rare movies, where both actors carried their parts well. Even in that movie, Aamir was better than Salman. In KA, Salman brought his A-game and quite frankly, he was amazing in his restrained, angry-young-man avatar. It's said that SRK never wanted to work with Salman as a parallel lead after KA. And, look at their next movies - KKHH and HTHS; both had SRK as the lead.

It's very difficult for a Director to manage two superstar egos - and both SRK and Aamir have them in abundance.
