Why is Deepika ignoring BM on twitter?

Not a bashing post, but genuinely perplexed. She says it's her biggest film, but post her individual poster as Mastani she hasn't posted anything about Bajirao Mastani. Is she resigned to the movie flopping? Does she figure her fans will see PC/Ranveer tweeting about it? Does she think there is still a chance people will go see Tamasha instead? Does she want the focus to be more on her Hollywood debut? Speculate.

Stars jinx movies when they tweet much of it. She jinxed the movies when she promoted too much in twitter Finding fanny and Tamasha are prime example. I hope her managers tells her to not jinx BM by posting tweets on it.

Under promotion before release seems Raindrop's style. They'd bombard Twitter and media after release.

I'm not talking about her daily Ranbir Kapoor pics, but she hasn't even posted a link to the trailer. Amitabh Bachchan has more followers on twitter but she still posted about Piku. Her team is still doing OOTD posts on her instagram, so it's not even a flat dismissal? The strategy just seems weird.

Don't subscribe to the herd mentality view of DP supposedly putting Ranveer down in interviews but can't deny the lack of enthusiasm shown towards the film by her. Wouldn't label it complete disinterest either but she seems reluctant to regard it a memorable role.. does she think PC has the more meaty role..it's clear her head space is occupied with Vin Diesel's next -_-

But it's not like Tamasha was a meaty role either? And she went all out promoting that...

The only time she didnt do over promotion is Piku it was simple in twiter without her pyscho rting. if in her instagram and facebook she is promoting then why does it matter if twitter also have to be filled? its best to not do over tamasha har jagah. She is overexposed in social media too many things about her past 2 months first tamasha, Vin movie its best she go easy with adverstising without any breaks tbh i wish Ranveer also stops doing it. Nothing comes out of the advertising.

Yeah I'd agree that she is overexposed, but idk I guess I don't expect Deepika & her team to be prescient enough to admit to this. She ordinarily thrives off overexposure. I mean, she threw a "positive response" party for Tamasha and still refers to Finding Fanny as a success. It's not like she's attempted to do any damage control after Tamasha promotions. She made a point to say thank you to a critic saying her pairing with Ranbir is better than SRK/Kajol's just a couple of days ago and she just now made it a point to respond to Akshay Kumar's Vin Petrol joke but hasn't responded to any of the BM material or the compliments. Yeah it might not make a difference in film collections either way and it's not like she told her team to stop posting about BM, but it's more like... why the change in strategy now?
