Tamasha team was desperate after the trailer and promos failed to make an impact.

Films come and go..she doesnt want a twitter competition between srk ,varun,kajol of Dilwale

Also there are 2 heroines in the film..They must do the same kind of promotions atleast on twitter ..as it is DP is in the title role.

I hated DP's page during Tamasha promotions..I hope she doesnt RT too much after BM releases.There is simply no need to RT every praise😳

Maybe she's resigned herself to the fact that Ranveer and Priyanka will steal the show, so she's not enthusiastic about BM.

I'm not talking about twitter spam, I'm talking about how she/her team hasn't tweeted Pinga or the trailer. There is no trace of Bajirao Mastani on her twitter unless you scroll for quite a bit. She usually changes her profile pic to the movie she is promoting but she made it neutral post Tamasha. What made her go from posting that BM was her most incredible film experience + challenge accepted to nothing?

For all those defending DP with 'she doesn't want to do over promotion' well there is a difference between over promotion & no promotion! One tweet with the trailer link is not going to make her profile look like over promotion!

First ppl went like 'oh she said she will do after Tamasha' now everyone will say 'oh after Tamasha she doesn't want to do over promotion'

Even the reason doesn't work that Ranveer & PC are doing it! Deepika has the largest followers on Twitter! You are going against a SRK film you need to go all guns out!!

Also 'she knows PC-ranveer will win the praise' is not a reason good enough! Deepika is the most over praised person in the industry! She is so beautiful people get awed by her screen presence, & do tweet praises about her all the time! Even if she thinks she will not get the praise, it is no reason to not promote! You need to get your film to work regardless of who garners the praise!!
