Mohit Suri is all set to direct, author Chetan Bhata's latest novel Half Girlfriend. The film was announced immidately after the book launch and ever since then, the film has been abuzz with it's casting coups. While we were first informed that Sushant Singh Rajput has been roped in as the male lead, there were rumors that Kriti Sanon will be the leading lady.
Recently, the Detectibve Byomkesh Bakshy star walked out of the film due to date issues. Sushant has signed Dinesh Vijan's untitled film and due to his commitments for that film, he walked out ofHalf Girlfriend. The actor will be seen romancing Kriti Sanon in that film and we recently saw the first look of the stars too.
Kriti too was recently asked about Half Girlfriend but she did not confirm about signing it. Grapevine has it that Arjun Kapoor may be the next choice for Half Girlfriend. He has earlier starred in 2 States which too was an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel by the same name.
