I think the picturization has been done keeping in mind the present day trends, which makes perfect sense. The makers know that production values matter a lot for audience these days. People want to see grandeur and the prospect of SRKajol romancing in beautiful Iceland is worth watching on big screen. If this song had been in the overkilled Switzerland or some Indian location then the chemistry would still have been there but the grandeur factor may have not been there. Remember this film is releasing with another film that will have superb production values. You can easily sell SRKajol pairing but the extra prod values maybe add the icing to the cake. 😊 just an opinion

The problem is not that they chose the Iceland location...the problem is how they let the location OVERWHELM the natural chemistry...that all depends on the creative vision of the ppl involved...and they got carried away in this case with the IMAGE of SRK-Kajol more than what they actually are.

By keeping it simple, no one is asking that they shoot in a simple Bombay set with a simple ghar ka set...production values don't mean exotic locations alone.

Well whether they overwhelm or not is subjective I guess. But at the end of the day its a business and people who have jnvested money will look at it from a business perspective also. I agree with everyone that SRKajol chemistry doesnt need any beautiful backdrops but that was the case with suraj hua madham also. I think Iceland is so beautiful that it possibly overshadows everything else but believe me once u have seen the song 6 or 7 times, you wont notice Iceland. So according to me it wasnt a bad idea at all 😊

LOL you're still not getting the point...I'm not saying ICELAND was a bad idea...I'm talking about the EXECUTION, the USAGE they did of Iceland...shooting at Iceland is not the problem...going overboard with enhancing colors in the edit IS...going overboard repeating the slow motion arms spreading poses is as well.

Sooraj hua Maddham balanced the exotic locations along with the intimate chemistry b/w these two in a far better fashion...anyways that's a whole another discussion...speaking strictly of this song, they could have styled SRK better and choreographed the song better rather than just making it slow motion posing.
