Some updates from the launch-

Varun and Kriti have arrived on the stage...Varun confesses to being nervous what with fans chanting Shah Rukh's name...Kriti recalls telling her doctor, "Kuch kuch hota hai doctor, tum nahi samjhoge!"

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon pay a tribute to Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol by dancing to the tunes of classics like, 'Tujhe dekha toh yeh...,' 'Sooraj hua madhyam...,' and 'Yeh kaali kaali aankhein...' The audience goes crazy...demands of 'once more' in the air!

Shah Rukh hopes that people like their labour of love, 'Gerua'

Shah Rukh Khan: This song is not similar to 'Suraj hua madhyam,' but we (SRK and Kajol) are the same...so the song might look similar.

SRK says, "The iceberg scenes were difficult to shoot. There were instances when we had to be tied."

Rohit Shetty says that 'Gerua' is his first out-and-out romantic song.

Kajol: The most romantic thing that Ajay has done for me is to babysit the kids while I am away shooting.

Shah Rukh Khan narrates the story behind the stranded plane. He says, "Long long ago..a plane had to make an emergency landing and no one from the plane was injured or had died...The landing was safe and the captain of the plane was lauded for his presence of mind. The plane has not moved since then and now the place is treated as a museum."

Oops moment: Rohit Shetty, in a hurry to get off the stage, bumps into Shah Rukh Khan"

Only delusional people would think it's SRK alone. 😆 I anyways found Kajol to be the best part of the video. SRK has done much better. He got complacent in the video.

If you notice, Kajol has always been fabulous in most SRK-Kajol songs..He actually lets her shine in a way and i always felt that is the best part of their chemistry..Whether its Tujhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam or Baazigar or Sooraj Huwa Madham, Kajol has always been brilliant..SRK and Kajol are basically good actors with brilliant chemistry..You don need VFX to enhance that..That is exactly where Gerua is lacking..Like with Karan, he is super shallow and always goes for beautiful locations and designer costumes but at the end of the day, he lets SRK-Kajol take over..I think that gazebo sequence perfectly illustrated that 😆 Anyways, i think this will probably look better on the big screen or they just tone down the VFX by the time the film is out 😆
