SRK back at Maratha Mandir

Shah Rukh-Kajol's Gerua song releases today in a theatre where DDLJ is still running

Shah Rukh Khan will unveil his romantic song in Dilwale with Kajol this evening. This pair has done six films together (Dilwale being the seventh!), and they have doen their share of romantic songs. Their latest romantic track Rang De Mohe Gerua, is the first love song from the film.

Picturesque locales, scenic backdrops and the evergreen SRK-Kajol combo, bas aur kya chahiye? Filmed in Iceland over a period of 10 days, the Gerua song, is the Suraj Hua Madham of this generation.

Love for Kajol and Shah Rukh began when they turned Raj and Simran on screen with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Twenty years later, DDLJ is still running at Mumbai's Maratha Mandir. And with Dilwale, SRK and Kajol are returning to the place where it all began. The much anticipated love anthem from the film will be unveiled at the same theatre today evening, where DDLJ is still running to packed houses. Kya baat!

Unarguably their best love song till date, Suraj hua maddham became an instant craze and is regarded as one of the best love anthems of the decade. From Kajol running in the beautiful Egypt locales to SRK doing his signature pose in a transparent white shirt, this song redefined romance and how!

Soothing and soulful, this melodious track beautifully captures the brewing love between the lead pair. We loves.

Ranveer, Deepika bond with SRK at Bachchan bash

Clash ho raha hai toh kya? The trio found the time to socialise and put their differences behind them...

Upala KBR

At the Bachchan Diwali bash, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan warmly chatted for over 15 minutes. Given their recently reported online tiff (see box), this was odd for onlookers.

But all the egos seem to have been cast aside this Diwali at the Bachchan party last week. Shah Rukh was chatting in the corner with some people when Deepika, with Ranveer in tow, walked up to the group and joined the conversation."

The trio conversed warmly for some time with Ranveer even asking Shah Rukh for some advice and help on his toe injury. Adds the source, "Shah Rukh today is almost an expert because of the amount of fractures and injuries he's suffered. Not only did SRK recommend some good doctors, but also offered tips on what to do to prevent further injuries. There was much light-hearted banter and jokes going around. The couple chatted with SRK for quite some time before leaving."

Kya hua tha?

Deepika had called SRK up to request him to postpone Dilwale's release, and help avoid a clash with her film Bajirao Mastani. SRK asked her to make her request on Twitter. She accepted the challenge, tweeting: Bring it on!', upsetting the actor/producer who launched her film career with Om Shanti Om.

SLB,Shah Rukh yeh dosti nahi todenge...

The Dilwale-Bajirao Mastani clash aside, there is still some warmth left between filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Evidence of the SLB-SRK dosti was on full display at the Bachchans' Diwali party.

According to a guest at the bash, "Bhansali and Shah Rukh bonded big time at the Bachchans'. When they met, they hugged one another and were seen locked in serious conversation for a good half-hour. Khan congratulated SLB on the songs of Bajirao Mastani and Bhansali expressed happiness over the trailer of Dilwale."

Those in the know say they have promised one another there won't be any backbiting and bitching about one another's film. Says a reliable source. "SLB and SRK are not going to fall into the trap this time of getting into a slinging match as they did in 2007 Diwali when Saawariya and Om Shanti Om were released simultaneously. Their films are coming together. But there will no fireworks between Bhansali and SRK this Christmas."
