But there were people like Sonam, Ranbir, Katrina etc. who took all that she had and made her the mess that she became. It was a war waged by all those over-confident ego-maniac bullies who never thought DP would give it back because she had never done that before. But then things changed. DP actually acted so well and got all acclaims and gave these people their shit back and more, using her PR. She didn't do the right thing. Sure. But well she was not in a right situation with right people to begin with.

Sonam can cry buckets portraying to be the victim now but she was the one who started the bitching stuff first. It only came back to bite her so hard that she just couldn't stop whining. On top of that, with all the support and money and connections from her dad, she still can't act well. Only a very few good roles in past so many years while her co-debutant DP has been there and done it all by now.

Directors always say the "s/he was always my first choice" shit before release to boost their lead's ego.

Before release, Zoya also said Ranveer was my first choice for DDD, and at one point Anurag Kashyap said similar thing for Anushka.

But the truth always comes out. I saw a video interview of Anil Kapoor post DDD release where he said Ranbir was offered the movie and it was Ranbir who suggested him to not to leave the project. And few days before or after BV's release Anurag Kashyap revealed he had actually approached Saif -Kareena, Aamir - Kareena/Katrina, HR, Ranveer, and then Ranbir-Anushka.

May be DP lobbied, may be there were negotiations between Sooraj and DP. Truth we'd know after release.

And ya she suggested clothes for deepika..those which ranbir wanted to gift her. Coz he himself said deepika didn't have a good fashion sense. What's the harm in taking help from someone stylish.

I never saw sonam take digs at her till after KWK when the poor victim kept whining in all interviews and gained sympathy while sonam bore all the brunt and lost a precious friendship.

p.s. Even in KWK sonam had defended ranbir quite a few times when victim was whining.

Either way, her lies are catching up on her. One thing Sonam never did was whine about. She adressed it in interviews & her director + co-star talked about it in IVs as well. Where it matters. Not behind the scene through coward blinds & nasty rumours.
