All of Bebo's performances added up together cannot beat Aish's Paro?!

Kinda funny! Kareena is far from a great actress(as much as some of these members may suggest), let alone pulling off something like paro. And people saying 'Whats so special about Paro?'... Well I would like to ask the same question regarding Kareena in JWM. What was so special about her?
Just another loud punjabi character, and mostly honestly she is only good for such roles. She was pretty hideous in K3G(ruined it for me), and all those films she starred opp. hr.

Both are similar in a way... and do well with good directors. Ash was pretty phenomenal as Paro... so much so that some review insisted on renaming the film as Paro. MD was average, Srk overacting to the hilt. She stole the show there. Ash was great in Hddcs, raincoat, chokher bali, provoked, guzaarish, raavanan, kk, sarkar raj to name a few. And kareena did well in JWM, Talaash, kurbaan among others.

Both of their strengths lie in different genres and different kind of films. KKK can never pull off a Paro, Hddcs, Jodhaa, Guru, raincoat, cb, kk... and Ash can't really do a JWM.

hahaha exactly. She also comes across as lazy and lacks real focus. She is blessed with natural talent but the same can go to waste without real honing and nurturing and focus. priyanka is much less talented but look where she is today. Ultimately, hard work is much more imp. which kareena clearly lacks. i rem this interview ith Karan where he said Kareena didn't even bother reading the cript for a scene in K3g but was good in it thanks to her talent. But there is only apoint where one can go without hard work.

I disagree, it's unfair to compare all of Bebo's performances to Paro because her characters in Talaash, Dev, Chameli, Jab We Met etc are right up there. But then also IMO you have good performances from Aish in Raincoat, Provoked (I enjoyed it because I watched it very recently), Mistress of Spices, Devdas, HDCCS).

To clarify my stance on this topic, I wanted to say this discussion was inspired by the Pinkvilla forum. Members from there were talking about Paro and comparing it to Bebo's movies. I love Bebo and Aish. My intention wasn't to bash Bebo and make Aish look good. If some people feel otherwise, then what can I say? 😲 Anyway, let's enjoy her birthday today and move on. 😊

People can make themselves feel better by saying Kareena is the greater actress but sorry2say, Kareena can only DREAM of achieving the great heights of stardom that Ash has achieved. Outside of India (besides for South Asians) no one knows who the eff Kareena is. She's a big fat nobody. Imagine the level of embarrassment if she were to ever represent India on an International platform with her pathetic can-barely-string-a-sentence-together snobby illiterate ass. Yeah no thanks. Ash is the pride of India.

Having said all that, I will admit that I connect much more to Kareena onscreen than I do to Ash.

I would argue that the way a TM presents a topic dictates the response.

For instance, if I open up a topic titled:

KAREENA IS THE WORST ACTRESS IN THE PAST DECADE

I can guarantee the response would be in support of Kareena and how she's an amazing actress with the right directors and even otherwise.

Now if I open up a topic titled

ALL OF DEEPIKA'S PERFORMANES COMBINED CANT BEAT KAREENA'S JWM

I guarantee that most of the responses would be bashing Kareena being overrated and how Deepika's a superior actress.
