To sum up what actually happened was:

When he was asked by a journalist whether the clash is right or wrong, he said as a viewer I think it's a very exciting time for cinema goers because they had a choice of two films to see but then also they have worked very hard on Dilwale to make sure they bring the best film possible and the whole idea of the film is to make a film that everyone enjoys this Christmas. Then when the journalist asked him about box office, he said he guesses both films could be affected a little bit, but the name of their film is Dilwale so they want to try and make a place in people's hearts. But then he also added he is not that worried about Dilwale because SRK is in it.

Lol varun didn't say dilwale will crush bm, he said he isn't worried bout the BO collections of dilwale because it has srk in it

He also said he thinks it's great for viewers as they will hav two movies to choose and watch at Xmas

Thanks for sharing touch of pink. Yeah he hardly said anything about SRK crushing them, he just said he's not worried about the box office prospects because the film has SRK. Funny how things change once it's in print.

He is right. SRK & Kajol >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> than Ranveer & SLB. I am very sure Dilwale get better BO over the world than BM. The SRK movie demand is more then SLB movie. Moreover, Dilwale is family movie.

The only good thing for eyes catcher in BM is Deepika padukone. Priyanka & Ranveer have no value to watch. BM storyline will be just for several person. Not for kids & young generation.

If there is one thing Kjo forgot to teach his Soty kids its how to give interviews all 3 have habbit of sounding dumb. Varun and Alia especially gave airhead image too many times.

Yeah, he meant it like he isn't worried about BO prospects at all because SRK is in the film. 😆 Sounds more like him, media does these things... hota hai 😆

I think it was supercool of him to mention the recent success of Punchnama 2 & the new film Title 😃

He was really sweet to all the journos - LOL @ that one guy who kept throwing questions at him and the others were trying to make him shut up but Varun was like: Shame, let him speak 😆

The pressure/duty to deliver doesnt rest on SRK's shoulder alone.Kajol is back after a sabbatical,SRKajol chemistry,RS after gigantic CE,Varun after his successful run in 2015...its a combination of many factors that has kept up momentum of Dilwale's buzz.So janta and trade has expectations from every person involved in the project.
