If Dilwale was not clashing with DP's BM,SRK would have used their only film together, CE for their promotions.Also Singham Returns was a horrid film.

SRK-Kajol's last film was MNIK,which again didnt do that well.

Also they played parents in their last 3 films

So,DDLJ makes good sense.

No shit. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. And from a business prospective it is super smart on SRK or Rohit's side (whoever thought of it) to promote it like that. The hype of 20 years of DDLJ is enough, they hoenstly don't even need to do promotions and tickets will go flying.

I think SRK knows how to cover his bases especially with the much-awaited "Clash".

A lot of people wisely predicted that SRK-Kajol angle would work in favour of the movie and on top SRK added the nostalgia of DDLJ with the celebration video, making of DDLJ and it's working brilliantly. I am quite surprised by the number of members who have criticized Rohit Shetty movies in the past, but are overlooking the RS factor and simply going by the nostalgia. At this point it seems no one is waiting for teaser or the trailer to judge Dilwale instead it's all DDLJ nostalgia and watching SRK-Kajol on screen. If the story is good it will be worth it, if not movie will still do well, but be slightly disappointing.
