Don't listen to blind haters. The film is a profitable venture. Semi Hit.

Box office

The film collected 4.23 crore (US$640,000) nett on its first day.[36][37] The first weekend collection stand at 15.24 crore (US$2.3 million) nett.[38] On its first Monday the film collected 2.11 crore (US$320,000) nett.[39] At the end of first week, the film collected 21.50 crore (US$3.2 million) nett.[40] The film performed fairly average on it's second weekend at the domestic box office with the total 10 day collection stands at 23.75 crore (US$3.6 million) nett.[41]

The film grossed around $1.2 million ( 7.81 crore) in its opening weekend at International Markets.[42] and $1.7 million( 11.03 crores) in the 10 days,[43] thereby taking its 10 day Worldwide total to over 34.78 crore (US$5.3 million), bringing back its budget. Koimoi reported that the film has turned out to be a profitable venture after its one week run.[16][41]

The Satellite and music rights were sold for 14 crore (US$2.1 million), while the Digital, In-film and Syndication were sold for 4 crore (US$600,000).[16]

Yeah she got producer credit. Which basically means she did movie for free. Hence those PR articles on how she is laughing all the way to the bank with 3cr. 😆

making profits has nothing to do with BO verdict. Producers these days make profits anyhow through music, satellite etc. It is based on its run in cinemas and the distributor share who in this case would be crying a river

It didn't fail. Koimoi reported that it was in the profit making zone. Not sure how reliable they are, but it definitely isn't a FLOP. The fact that it made domestic 22 crores on 33ish budget is still not bad. And factor in the 10 crores overseas but the 8 crores satelite rights. It's def not even close to a flop.
