Yep...and Uday put it nicely...Kajol is unique...today you might think some people are like her, but Kajol is an ORIGINAL piece..she is the first one. 😆 She did what she wanted to do..had her career on her terms, and I think it turned out pretty well for her. No wonder she was so cutely telling her 20 year old self...that you did it ALL right! 😆

Mhmm, I think KKHH ends up being slightly underrated in ways. It is a pretty darn entertaining movie..and KJo at his best, most honest definitely. He tried something similar in SOTY in a way...and honestly it was so wannabe try-hard! Oh yes...KJo has played a HUGE hand in cementing their iconic status and allowing them to showcase different aspects of their chemistry instead of letting them repeat the same thing again and again.

I think Kajol has had a very successful career...1 iconic film, another trendsetter..negative role...numerous awards..relevant even after 20 years. Yes her filmography might not stand the test of time, but I think she did pretty well for herself. Rest is upto her if she chooses to, wants to try something else now.

It really does seem like no one knows what to do with her but they know that the madness off screen gives way to something awesome on screen...I can't get over 'Manoj Kumar style' and Saroj Khan's reaction to that. 🤣

For sure today, she would have been forced to change herself completely to last. Imagine saying no to YC after DDLJ! Most would feel obligated to say yes.

Karan may be fake and snobby, but he has genuine LOVE for some people and it has always been obvious...it's easy to tell...Adi, SRK, Kajol are 3 of them for him...it did look like the shoot was a great big party for everyone..and then literally everyone's careers were made/got a great jump start after the film ...not just SRK-Kajol-Adi, but the crew members like KJo, Anaita, Manish Malhotra, etc...thus they'll always have that connection.

Roger yaar...I kinda disagree..I think KKHH had enough in it on its own too..of course the actors took it on another level, but story-wise, direction-wise...it had enough in it to work. It is also to KJo's credit that he showed a different facet to SRK-Kajol...Raj and Simran are quite different from Rahul and Anjali..as inspired as he was from Adi, he could have easily tried to make another form of DDLJ...but he went in a different direction with practically the same cast.

Na am not saying KKHH was bad..I do think it was sexist in a lot of ways and the concept of a 10 year old uniting her dad with his true love was kinda ridiculous..And the fact that Rahul fell in love with Anjali the moment he saw her in a saree 😆 Of course i din notice any of this back then and loved the film 😆 And that is why i say SRK-Kajol were primarily responsible for that..They were magic onscreen man..Whether it was the first half where they were besties or the second half which was diametrically different, they nailed it..This of course is epic in a lot of ways😆-

Damn, look at the chemistry here..I cant think of one couple who can pull this off this well..Call me biased but na, there is just no can who can create this magic..This was not just Karan..It was these two in a lot of ways 😆
