Is Deepika doing a Katrina in BM? - Page 2

I dont think Deepika is expressionless in the song.. Her expression are subtle which I loved in the song.. like the smile when she gives Bajirao at the beginning. Also the mesmerising eyes which looked like a painting at the end.. she is graceful in that dance.. Also the song is kind of melody combined with at times reaching high notes so I do believe she cant dance like she did in Ram leela. She has to be graceful as well gives subtle expression without ott.. so she is prefect...
Coming to teaser.. She give perfect expression fighting the soldiers who try to kill her son.. I saw love, anger, boldness also try to do anythg to save her son in her eyes..
I cant compare Deepika and Katrina. I love both of thm onscreen. some ppl gives us happiness when we see thm onscreen. Deepika surely gives me goosebumps as Mastani. Maybe I am being biased. So I think Deepika is perfect

The expressions deepika gave were subtle and gentle, and most of the emotion is said through her eyes, her expressions went with the song and video very well

I have come to realize most bollywood fans don't get subtlety. She looks fierce. Her eyes speak in the video. She does not need to change face expression a billion times during one song.

Agree with you completely... my thoughts r same. Her expression r perfect for this song without going ott. Thats one thg I noted here.. most talented ppl in industry goes ott sometimes. Deepika has control over it which is good.

I thought she was the best thing about the promo of BM ... brilliant ... but in the song - completely dead - flat expressionless face ... except once/ twice, her face was completley blank ... it left me totally disconnected from the song

Like i said b4 , she is the best thing abt the movie so far

People said the same about the first song that was released during Ram Leela time- Lahu Muh Lag Gaya, that her expressions were caricaturish but she got received good reception for the role.
