Finally a movie about guys! I am so tired of the sexism in the industry, all the major movies revolve around female leads, actresses get paid the most, they even get to pick the male leads. Not to mention male actors are called old when they turn 30 but female actors play the lead well past 50 and are considered sex symbols. It's so unfair. And not just in Bollywood, Hollywood too. All superheroes are female, the few male superheroes who do exist never get solo films and there are 30 female led superhero films every year!
I think feminism should be banned because it is awful and hurts the feelings of men because it's not about them and can anything be worse? I mean people say feminism is needed because every day more and more girls are getting sexually assaulted, high schools have students committing suicide because people are circulating videos of their rapes so that boys can get off on it presumably, some dude started a revenge site where guys can post nudes of their ex-gfs, and there is a huge wage gap but these are just minor inconveniences and girls should deal with it because it has always been like this. Guys have a right to treat women as objects, we should feel lucky that they treat us better than our ancestors have. And guys have to deal with much worse. can you imagine DP made a VIDEO called MY CHOICE which was insulting to guys because of its TONE even though it never said anything explicitly. THAT is SO MUCH WORSE than anything girls have to deal with.

Oh, what do you say? If guys got offended by My Choice should girls get offended by this movie? Of course not. Those are completely different things. First of all EVERYONE should have been offended by MY Choice because it was insulting to guys. And no guy created a fuss about it at all. Everyone was so sporting and supportive of it. It's only girls who get offended by movies which are good fun and TRUE. Stupid feminists, demanding equal rights and respect.

Golu, you are such a cool girl! I am sure all your guy friends think really highly of you! And that is what is most important! Sure 99% of crimes against women are committed by men but some men actually get treated badly by their girlfriends and some others get REJECTED (gasp) and that is SO MUCH WORSE. I am so glad you are standing up for men's rights. Your parents must be so proud.

I hated Biwi No.1 and movies like those. Infact those are the kind of movies that make women hate men.
PKP 2 is not like Biwi No.1 or other movies like that. In fact those movies also never show that the guy was doing the right thing. At the end he has to beg for forgiveness. PKP2 shows how men who are nowadays always blamed for everything are not always wrong and women have taken this feminist thing to a whole new level.

@anonymous - No need to be embarrassed for me because what I said is the truth. Women themselves have made a joke of feminism.

WOAH why are you getting senti?

I am talking about the movie and the content of the film. Not about the discrimination in the film industry.

And yeah my guy friends are proud of me because I do not believe in feminism. I believe in EQUALITY.

Oh I am not! I am commending your bravery in supporting men, who have historically been discriminated against. It's a woman's world after all.
And I would suggest that you read about feminism before making ridiculous statements but something tells me you don't like to read. You can have one of your cool male friends read you the definition. They are so much smarter than you, of course.

Sorry to say but you definitely need to COOL DOWN. I was talking about a movie I enjoyed and you are getting PERSONAL here.

First of all there is a DIFFERENCE between a feminist and a FEMINAZI (you clearly seem to be one of those).

Secondly from where did My choice video and discrimination in film industry come?

Thirdly, women like you give rise to cases like Jasleen-Sarabjit. In case you do not know of it, or haven't READ about it, then do read.

Lastly, stop acting like a bully and prove my point right. Learn to have CIVILISED discussions with people without getting PERSONAL and SENTI over trivial matters. You are NO BLOODY ONE to question my thinking.

Honestly i agree that ppl often misinterpret feminism and don realize that it is about equality rather than women trampling over men but the Indian film industry (as well as the films they make) is majorly sexist..If Bollywood was pro-women, we wouldn't be seeing films like R.Rajkumar where a girl is referred to as maal or those various other films where the girl is nothing but a damsel in distress..Am not talking about the situation prevailing in the industry ( which is majorly sexist anyway) since you are only talking about what is shown in films..So yeah, while i agree with the perception that ppl misuse the term feminism and take it too far, a lot of films made in India ( all languages included) are majorly sexist..

I do not watch Bollywood movies much so I am not aware of all the words used for women. I have watched only 3 to 4 films in past 2 years and those have been good.

I agree there is lot of discrimination and stuff against women and I wasn't talking about that. In the movie, one female character is a hard core feminist but she keeps MISUSING her rights. Infact they ages shown how nowadays girls have started to misuse law and the security they are provided by law.

Feminism was a very sensitive issue. Now it has become a joke, thanks to women protesting in cases where there is no need to bring feminism.

^I highly doubt you are a woman. Probably a guy posing as a girl online.

Women who bash feminism are the worst type of creatures. They want to benefit from the gains feminism has made while currying favor with men. They benefit from the misogyny by kissing up to men with the usual "see, I am not a feminazi!! I am so much better than them!"

You think women would have even had the right to vote or drive or do so many things without feminists striving to achieve those things?

But some women would rather use the misogyny to their advantage to kiss up to men instead about how *different* they are from other women and how much better. It's downright shameless.

Yeah right I am man posing as a woman to glorify a RANDOM movie 🤣

I bet you are one of those feminists who forces guys to stand up from their seats in metros and busses so that you, THE ALMIGHTY FEMALE SPECIMEN can sit because definitely you are a FEMINIST. You are above all. 😆

Am I INSENSITIVE? HELL YEAH. VERY MUCH.

Now you won't spend your precious time fighting with an INSENSITIVE ANTI FEMINIST?

Good choice.👏

I can already hear "Ek aurat hi doosri aurat ki sabse badi dushman hoti hai" speeches coming my way😆

You're displaying your ill education since you don't even know the definition of feminism.
Maybe your boyfriend or husband can teach you.
