It reminds me of one of my favorite subs to read on Reddit called Raised by Narcissists. Link:

Anyways, they have links on the side of their board that provides symptoms for textbook narcissistic behavior. I am copying and pasting here:

http://parrishmiller.com/narcissists.html

In Cognitive Therapy of Personality Disorders, Aaron T. Beck, Arthur Freeman, and associates (1990) list typical beliefs associated with each specific personality disorder. Here are the typical beliefs that they have listed (pp. 361-362) for Narcissistic Personality Disorder:

  • I am a very special person.
  • Since I am so superior, I am entitled to special treatment and privileges.
  • I don't have to be bound by the rules that apply to other people.
  • It is very important to get recognition, praise, and admiration.
  • If others don't respect my status, they should be punished.
  • Other people should satisfy my needs.
  • Other people should recognize how special I am.
  • It's intolerable if I'm not accorded my due respect or don't get what I'm entitled to.
  • Other people don't deserve the admiration or riches that they get.
  • People have no right to criticize me.
  • No one's needs should interfere with my own.
  • Since I am so talented, people should go out of their way to promote my career.
  • Only people as brilliant as I am understand me.
  • I have every reason to expect grand things.

All of that fits SRK more than anyone else though he seems to be good at maintaining a diplomatic front.

Nope. If she had NDP then she would never have gotten Ranbir's tattoo. People with NPD never go crazy over their partners, and even if they do, they will never ever express it ever.

She's just extremely competitive and viciously ambitious. Sports people usually are. She comes from a very secure and a stable family so she's confident and unapologetic about her tactics to stay at the top. That's what I think at least.

Okay I don't have NPD, I go crazy for my partner 😳
I'm out of this thread now, thanks for the profound experience!

Sorry for butting into your conversation but just wanted to add in my input here. Am taking Abnormal Psychology currently and from whatever I have learned so far schizophrenia is the worst kind of psychological disorder instead of dissociative identity disorder (previously known as split or multiple personality disorder). DID is curable (as far as my textbook says) while schizophrenia for most people lasts a lifetime.

I took psychology class too. Deepika is NOT narcissistic from what I can see. That's a personality thinking they are superior to everyone but deepika is insecure so narcissistic is far away from her. Matter of fact she feels like she's inferior to everyone that's why she feel depressed

I was conversing on BB forum so your response is very welcome. I suppose it may be the worst after all. I just made a subjective comment as I read about a lot of Hollywood ppl with DID and it sounded pretty horrible.

I can actually see that happening because according to DSM-5 one of the criteria for Bipolar II is major depressive episodes. Now I don't know how intense DP's episodes were but it could be Bipolar II. Her doctors know better than us though.

That's true. Her doctors say she's depressed and suffer from anxiety as well. But I think her personal life is just messed up with her boyfriends maybe that's why the disease came. I'm not a doctor so I'm assuming

I would like to add my two cents here though. Bipolar also includes manic episodes when people feel on top of the world. I doubt very much that she's bipolar. And when they're down, they're really down.
