Truth today is called hate speech. I had a friend with NPD so I completely emphatize and have read about NPD mothers. It's toxic but the bright side- it can only ever get better.

For me it's a NPD father which is worse because like in a lot of east asian households, whatever the father does or says goes and mother and kids have to follow. It's a wonder I've my kept my sanity for so long. But the more time passes, I've learned to speak up more. Way more. It's helped some but basically I can't wait to move out one day.

I just had a look at NPD fathers. It sucks when parents don't give 100% love to their kids. Love yourself and all else will follow. And you will set up your own home soon away from all that toxicity.

Marilyn's story reads more like a tragedy. I think she got too involved with powerful men and a very empty industry and then didn't know how to get out those situations.

What I can tell you about Taylor Swift is she's complete control freak about her image.

Example: She sues anyone and everyone who uploads videos from her concerts. A couple danced to one her songs at their wedding and uploaded the video to youtube. Taylor's teams saw it and took action to mute the video because of copyright infringement. She does these things all the time and then "likes" all the comments on Tumblr that support her.

Also, she's been hyping her latest relationship with her latest boyfriend like it's out of fairtyale and yet her boyfriend gets caught on camera visiting a shady "massage parlor". It wouldn't be a big deal except those pictures and the story about him visiting that place were wiped off the internet as soon as they leaked.

You're welcome. My NP gf used to give me a really hard time so I know it's very important to keep your spirits high. Needed a crash course in meditation and mantras after that experience.

Nope. If she had NDP then she would never have gotten Ranbir's tattoo. People with NPD never go crazy over their partners, and even if they do, they will never ever express it ever.

She's just extremely competitive and viciously ambitious. Sports people usually are. She comes from a very secure and a stable family so she's confident and unapologetic about her tactics to stay at the top. That's what I think at least.

Oh wow, sounds delightful. Don't know what's worse, a NP parent or partner. It sounds like you got out of that situation just in time. Yep, it's very important to make yourself emotionally very strong and not doubt yourself in those kinds of situation.
