Jazbaa grossed 3.75 crore nett apprx on day one. The film is dependent on word of mouth as are all films with female protagonists and its fate will depend on the business it does on Saturday. The film has mainly done business in Mumbai and Delhi / UP with other circuits performing lower.

The film will pick up on Saturday and show growth but it will depend on how much growth it is. These type of films can easily show 20-30% growth on Saturday which has become the the norm today but here the growth will have to be more towards the 50% range if the film is to really have a run at the box office and hold well on the weekdays.

The plus for the film is no big competition next week but to take advantage of that the big growth on Saturday is a must.
