Shaandaar starring Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor is almost set to hit the screens on October 22.The promos look gorgeous. More so, Shahid and Alia's chemistry is something that's literally leaving us craving for more. They look no less than a vision together and I don't think anyone would disagree to that. But there's more news! Believe it or not but Alia wasn't the first choice for Shaandaar. Yes!The makers were initially keen on casting Deepika Padukone opposite Shahid in this destination wedding film. But Ranveer's girl denied the offer for reasons unknown. Reveals a source, "Apparently, Vikas approached Dippy, but the actress could not do the film. It would have been a fresh casting and Shahid too was keen to work with Deepika. Vikas waited for a long time for Deepika, but she finally said no."
No wonder Shahid and DP were seen bonding so much during the Screen Awards 2015, earlier this year! Remember we had brought to you inside goss on how the two were stuck to each other, with deep conversations until the end of the show? Nevertheless, we are glad Alia has come on board for Shaandaar coz let's admit it, we LOVE Alia, don't we?.
