The film is showing growth in afternoon shows. As per the reports, the advance booking is very solid for evening shows. But it should be running to huge occupancy in the evening and night shows to compensate the damage done earlier. The single screens have shown bigger drops in comparison to multiplexes which is a bit surprising.

Singh Is Bling is expected to show good growth in the evening shows. Tomorrow is a holiday which will give boost to night shows which were also affected by cricket match on Friday.

Singh Is Bling has collected 20.67 crore on its opening day. It is the biggest opening for Akshay Kumar. Overall it is 15th highest opening day. The film has done extremely well in overseas, especially in UAE and Canada.

Singh Is Bling has a decent hold on Saturday. According to early estimates Singh Is Bling 2nd day box office collection will be in the range of 13-14 crore.

Today Akshay Kumar starrer had a decent start in the morning shows. The overall occupancy was around 30-35%. But the noon shows could not pick up and were much lower than yesterday. It was only in the evening shows when it showed huge growth. It has the best hold in East Punjab, UP and Delhi. While all other centers were average to poor. Multiplexes has the better hold than single screens which is interesting.

Singh Is Bling box office collection in 2 days is around 34 crore. Akshay Kumar's last release Brothers collected 36 crore in two days which is higher than Singh Is Bling. But Brothers showed huge drop on Sunday while SIB will certainly grow from here. So the trend will be there.

Singh Is Bling collection has dropped around 35% from Friday. This is considered a normal after a big holiday but the problem is that 1st day was not that strong as it should have been. So ideally it should have collected 15 crore today.

The film has also performed extremely well in overseas. Singh Is Bling overseas collection is 6.52 crore which includes Thursday previews and Friday.

Now it should grow around 50% on Sunday. The advance booking is good but the reports are mixed. It will be interesting to see how it will perform on Sunday.

I don't write reviews for Akshay's movies simply because I know somewhere I'll be biased. Still doing it for this one because the movie was enjoyable acc. to my family members and friends too. The content is indeed very Punjabi-ish just like SIK. Has a lot of funny moments and I think people trust Akshay when it comes to comedy, which is why it's doing pretty well for now. It was bound to do well overseas (Canada + UK).

FINALLYYY a movie where women are shown the way they should be shown. Apart from all the comic elements, it gave a great message to Indian women back home. They should learn how to protect themselves, I lovedd Amy's character so much! No drama queen abla nari crap, she was kickass and so relatable.

I've not seen any other actor of Akshay's age performing with the same amount of energy, it's truly commendable. Now waiting for Airlift 😳

Well.. I'm in two minds about SINGH IS BLING... I want this movie to work for Akshay's sake (as producer and actor) - he really tries to make a difference with movies like 'Baby' and 'Special 26', but this movie.. meh. I would have rather watched it at home 👎🏼 I walked out after the 1st half (after reading multiple reviews which mentioned only the 1st half was worth watching), and went to watch TALVAR instead.

From what I did watch, Lara Dutta stole the show as 'Imli' (Emily 😆) the translator. Watch out for her scenes with Akshay's sidekicks and her moves/expressions in the song 'Choo Chai' - glad to see her back on the big screen! Also, kudos to Amy Jackson 👍🏼 for showing that there are also women who can take care of themselves...the pre-interval scene's action sequences were kick-ass, and she is also super hot as well 😛. I will probably watch the 2nd half on a boring Sunday afternoon later, or when it comes on TV I guess.
