A movie that was more memorable for what happened OFF SCREEN than ON SCREEN. 😆

Classic case of how a brilliant Bebo was let down by a faulty script. She was the ONLY good thing in that 2 hour mess 🤢 ARB must have been thanking Aradhya each morning since the release.😉

How I wish the movie was a deep look into the personal life on an actress!

This is my favorite poster of HEROINE. So simple yet intriguing 👍🏼 .... I remember so anxiously waiting to see ARB in this role since Cannes announcement😃

How times change, every actress worth her salt would chase Madhur and today he is busy dishing out C grade Calendar Girls! 🤢

I remember how stories was going run that Heroine was based on deepika,kangana,and kat's real life story😆

Aish shot couple days, I think she completed a month after she found out she was pregnant.

Madhur should have instead written the screenplay as follows:

Madhur and his team claiming he scraps the movie yet silently searches for replacement and keeps leaking photoshoots 😉 => 198928 articles
Ash threatens to sue...
Bebo on board and shouting from rooftops that she was always the first choice 😆 (Bebo Fans 😃 over her prospecting NA winning role)

This story board is more interesting than what he had. Hell the movie could have beaten Barfi for the best film of the year 😛

Kareena was Brilliant in the whole film. I think Because Madhur showed the ending with mahi giving up her career was the most wrong ending he showed . It showed the Lead protagonist as loser in the end unlike Fahsion where PCee's Character came out as a Winner in the end . It's affect was seen in the BO report as well where Heroine was a Flop But Fashion was Superhit .

Yeah I liked the off screen drama more but Kareena's performance in the movie is the best. She's a great actress. But yeah I agree with Fashion role of PC becoming a winner. Maybe Bebo should've fought back and won

I don't think it was the ending that was bad. I liked the ending. It's just that everything and all other actors in the movie apart from Kareena, Randeep and Divya SUCKED!

The screenplay was so cliche'd and so cluttered it just bored the audience. You lost the connect with Mahi.

Also, we were shown in bits and pieces that Mahi was struggling with some kind of mental illness, Depression? Bipolar? Which was it?

Apart from 2 scenes where she's shown getting therapy, it's never explored. Instead of being centered on Mahi, Madhur tried to basically throw every negative stereotype about Bollywood into it.

WORD! The script was horrendous and Madhur claiming he had spent years putting it together.. a big baloney. I really felt sad for Bebo, she had put heart and soul into it.. 😭

I can't fathom why these filmmakers can't get the screenplay right, not expecting Oscar quality, but at the very least it should have basic elements and coherence. I scratched my head thinking the same while watching KB too.
