Do you remember the famous blog bollywood basket that some lady would run? I loved her flair for witty writing. She made everyday articles so funny. Many followers logged on the blog and posted their comments. It was a fun small community.

I discovered it sometime late 2011 and the blog went offline mid 2012. Is the lady who authored the blog with us on IF? Has she written something else?

Yeah that blog was awesome. She was a member here and used to post here occasionally till 2012. I think her ID was Basket Case.

IKR i used to read her blog.There are stil some of her writings on some other sites.As far as i remember she said that she's being threatened and then a few months later she said her blog has been hacked.Her massage:

Hey folks, there is something seriously wrong going on.

Bollywood Basket has been hacked and someone else has been communicating through the blog using my screen name. Bollywood Basket is NOT back up again. I am NOT writing or blogging anymore. I stopped the blog on May 1st and I do NOT intend to start it up again.

That being said, even if that was me I would NEVER EVER make Bollywood Basket an "invitation only" blog. That would go against everything the blog stood for! I may moderate the comments but I would never make it by "invitation only"!! Also if I wanted to restart the blog I would have come here and given an explanation and/or made an announcement, just like I did after my accident in Jan.

For the record, since I went offline in May, I have NOT been writing or posting anywhere. Not here on IF, not in Open, not on Hungama, not on BOI, not ANY WHERE.

I don't know what is being posted on the blog, as I can't access it myself. Ironic, no?! Nor am I responsible for any communication being sent using my email address at Bollywood basket. I'm working with Google's Account Recovery folks to gain access again and find out W*F happened.

Once the issue is resolved, Bollywood Basket will be deleted as will the entire Gmail account associated with my blog (bollywoodbasket[at]gmail[dot]com). I shudder to think what's been emailed or posted using my screen name. If it's offended anyone, please understand it wasn't me.

My reasons for going offline are personal and too painful to get into on a public forum such as this. There are matters in my life which take precedence over any and all Bollywood matters. It had nothing to do with any other 3rd parties. No one forced me to go silent or bullied me into taking the blog down. It is what it is. Disappearing like that was the only way I could do it. If I had announced my departure, none of my Basketeers would have let me leave. Their kind words and pleas would have forced me to stay, and I just couldn't.

To repeat, Bollywood Basket has ended. I am NOT writing there or anywhere else. Please don't be fooled, just because there's a winking smiley, it doesn't mean it's me! This is the real BC, and I swear by all things holy, sacred, and pure that I haven't posted anything on BB since I left in May!
