Vastav was superhit but it's sequel Hathyar was super dud.

I don't know if Singham returns count coz BO wise it still earned. But in terms of popularity, Singham was very much liked compared to Singham returns.

Arey..Raaz wasn't a 2 kaudi movie ya. It was a blockbuster and even Raaz 2 had decent hype before its release. The songs Soniyo..Maahi..O jaana were really popular. Still it didn't do well. No raunchy factor, I guess

@NimbuMirchi : Popularity wise..I think the first installments remain to be the most loved/appreciated..irrespective of the money their sequels make. Be it Hera Pheri or Golmaal(new) or KMG or even Race/Welcome for that matter. Ofcourse..movies like TWMR are an exception though.
