Okay, the Bombay Velvet debacle is behind Anurag Kashyap. The filmmaker is done licking his wounds. Now, he's figured the perfect way to bounce back and prove a point to his detractors.

And the strategy is called Priyanka Chopra.
9xe.com has it that Anurag has approached the Dil Dhadakne Do actress for his forthcoming project.

Now, before you jump the gun - this is not the Ayushmann Khurrana-Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer that Anurag has lined up for early next year
(Shruti joins Nawaz and Ayushmann in Anurag Kashyap's next, August 31).

While the Ayushmann-Nawaz starrer will be a relatively small film, Anurag is planning a big-ticket film with Priyanka. He has already sent the script to the actress, but she is yet to respond.

Abrar Zahoor, who is currently shooting for Neerja Bhanot biopic, has been roped in to play the male lead in the movie.
