Good to know you are already attributing PRDP's success to Sonam.

Yesh in every Salman filam ppl give full credit to female leads only. Salman is just there for name only to flock ppl to theaters.

She's right tho. It's a Salman Khan film, with the whole Prem nostalgia added in. I'm sure it'll do ridiculously well tho I'm not a fan of Barjatya's films. But quick question, when did Raanjhanaa enter the 100 Crore Club?

The 4th week:

The film has reportedly entered the century club after finishing its four-week theatrical run at box offices worldwide.

Directed by Anand L Rai, the film was released in a limited number of screens on 21 June in India and in overseas market. The Tamil version of the film titled "Ambikapathy" was released on 28 June in 300 screens.

Dhanush, who is a National Award winning actor, has made a big mark in the Hindi film industry with his debut Bollywood film. This is Dhanush and Sonam's first Bollywood film that has made 100 crore.

The "Raanjhanaa" team will be holding a grand event in Mumbai on Wednesday to celebrate the success of the film.

"Dhanush celebrating #Raanjhanaa success in Mumbai today - 100 Cr gross worldwide," senior film journalist Sreedhar Pillai tweeted.

"Raanjhanaa" is the fourth film released this year that has crossed the 100 crore mark after "Race 2", "Aashiqui 2" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".

But that's worldwide gross. For a movie to enter the 100 Crore Club, it has to nett 100 Crore in India only. I don't think even Aashiqui 2 made that cut (I don't think Race 2 did either according to BOI).

Here's a complete list of all movies in the club (with producer figures) and Raanjhanaa isn't there:

Not that the "club" is any validation for how good a film is; I'm just saying it's not in the club, lol.

Thanks for the link! I stated it was the worldwide collection, yes. When all movies make headlines marking & celebrating the 100 cr worldwide gross tag as soon as they make it, Idk why Raanjhanaa cannot do the same. The most recents hit movies did the exact same thing & made even bigger headlines when they grossed more. It would not be false for Sonam to say that her movie grossed 100 cr since it did gross that much @ the end of the day.😳

Besides it is tamasha over nothing because i watched the video of the event, she never said it like that. She could not remember which movie did 100Cr, lol. Here is a synopsis of what she said about that. Around 20:58 min:

Classic Sonam moments, hehe. The media once again twisted her & Hritik responses @ that event. The uncut event was pure entertainement. & Hritik had NO time for stupid questions. 😆

I cannot wait for Sallu & Sonam to promote PRDP.🥳
