Aanand L. Rai has rubbished the reports which suggest that the director has signed Shah Rukh Khan for his next film.

The filmmaker, whose last movie 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' was a blockbuster, was reportedly working on two projects - a sequel to Raanjhanaa and yet another script, in which the lead actor was said to be playing a dwarf.

However, the director denied the reports and instead issued a statement. "I'm really amused by the rumors, since people seem to know more about my film than I do. I'm still working on the script and funnily enough, several have already started speculating about the cast and the title. I request people to stop jumping to conclusions and allow me to make an official announcement on the film, which we will make as soon as we finalize all the details," read the statement.

Well, it seems we shall have to wait longer to know which film does he finally direct and who is cast in the lead role!
