You don't need to be from a particular gender to be an asshole.A girl or a transgender can equally be an asshole.
It's because of such mentality (@bold) that these cases are never solved properly.There's no evidence of the eve teasing,both accuse each other but still the guy is called a pervert and his picture is flashed across channels.If Jasleen was confident about her accusation,why did she run away from facing the witness in the Zee News interview? It's because of this same mentality that there's a Dimapur mob lynching or a Rohtak case or laws in IT companies where a guy is immediately sacked if accused of harassment by a woman without even checking with both the parties involved.

When old guys watch item numbers by younger actresses,they are assholes while when older women watch younger actors like Fawad Khan and express their sexual fantasies,they are liberating. It's a given in our society nowadays that guys are assholes because every single married man in India physically harasses their wife while women who falsely give dhamki of 498a are easily seen as powerful.Guys are assholes for not giving a seat to a woman in the general seating area of a public transport but girls aren't assholes for sitting in a common seat inspite of an older man or woman standing in the crowded bus...and the list can go on and on.

I believe one needs to be the change he or she wants to see. However,I fear that with this mentality and the misuse of powers given,we will never have equality of all genders anywhere in the world.

Some men messed up with the power given to them by the society.It's a shame some women are doing the same.
