The kinda communal angle these losers are using in their argument is so low and disgusting. If they want to reciprocate, at least have some decency than trying to incite religious differences by talking about Indian Muslims and minorities. I can even understand many not liking Saif's statement, but the blatant communal angle they have opted for is sickening to the core. And it's even more sick to see such assholes being defended.

+ 100. Nothing irks me more than this communal angle. Totally W*F.

If saif has the right to say he doesn't have faith in Pakistan, then we all have the right to say we don't have faith in Saif's opinion and he should rather concentrate on something else.

There were better ways to express his opinion. "I don't have faith in Pakistan" is a very broad statement and people are meant to react on it.

When India banned Waar and Bin Royee, did we say we don't have faith in India? That's wrong on so many levels. For a darn movie, you are going to question the faith of a country and it's people?
What has this world come to???

These are all reactions that are coming and Saif is enjoying because now Phantom has become the hottest topic in both countries. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a 10+ crore opening on Friday.

What we need to understand is where Saif was coming from, this is personal to him..and he was expecting it.
If what I'm hearing is true I didn't expect it as well, Saif is upset about his movie getting banned and that too for someone like Hafiz, in fact even you and me shld be disappointed if the movie got banned cuz of Hafiz, yes you have the right to not care for his statement but such a strong reaction is not need (my opinion of course) I wld say the citizens of the country shld react strongly to the fact that someone like Hafiz is ruling the country, anyways from what I understood Saif's statement was more for the government and less for the citizens of Pakistan. I get that some people wld react to it, just didn't expect such a strong reaction.

Anyways I'm neither Indian nor Pakistani and this is just my opinion, you can a different one.

If you agree or not, Indians ladies go gaga for Pakistani men especially the actors. Even in a survey, Pakistani were ranked as 3rd most beautiful men. Not boosting about it, just saying

Like someone mentioned, you got it all wrong. Banning the movie hasn't made him lose faith.
If that was they case, he would have said it earlier, when other movies of his were banned.

Point is, at the cost of repeating myself, the fact that a terrorist, with an international bounty on his head, can walk around freely and even go to court with an appeal, is the issue
Like when Osama was found a few 100 metres away from your army headquarters? get it?

And you and your stars can say and lose faith. The fact of the matter is, that it won't find place in our media, and our stars won't start shouting in all caps and get personal.
No argument on that.

And for your kindest information, many of our movies on Pak have been rejected by the Indian population because they were badly made movies. Take the recent "welcome to Karachi" Didn't last even 2 days in our movie halls. Got a 1/4 star rating. Only because it was so bad.
So don't think that we will support bad movies just because of the topic. You guys need to move out of the BW neck and concentrate on your movies and your stars. It will give all of you fewer uclers.

Btw Shaan is also pulling off a Saif. This was his opinion about India and why hatred works in Pakistan and why he will make anti India films.

Shaan explains how important numbers are and why films need to be improved but never by sidelining what masses of people across the country wish to see. Films need to rake in numbers before they can be termed a success, he explains. While that is a discussion for another day, one wonders how sensible or sensitive it is to make and release a film like Yalghaar at a time when one is enjoying the peace promotion that Bollywood is exporting via films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

"Secularism is part of the Indian identity," Shaan explains. "There are more Muslims in India than in Pakistan which is why the Khans rule and it doesn't hurt them to make a film on peace and harmony because one nation is what they're about. We, as Pakistanis, believe in the two nation theory so the whole India-Pakistan are one' does not work here.

"You have to understand that Yalghaar is not anti-India," he continues passionately. "It's anti-whatever issues we are facing as a nation. Yes Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all about peace and harmony but let's not forget Agent Vinod, Ek Tha Tiger and all those films that were anti-Pakistan and came before it. How can we conveniently forget what's happening in our country? Aman is great and peace is fine but it has to be done on equal terms. This dream of equality that BB sells is not all true. Why doesn't someone in India make a film on Gujrat?" he continued.

"I'm not anti-India but I am pro-Pakistan," he concludes. "I feel respect on both ends is very important. I wish people would try to understand what I'm saying instead of taking everything I say the wrong way."

  1. Faith is confidence or trust in a person or thing or a belief not based on proof. It may also refer to a particular system of religious belief.
He should have specified what he is trying to say and not insult a whole nation of 182 million people. Faith doesn't mean government, judiciary, police only.
