Phantom did well in its first weekend grossing around 33 crore nett. The film benefitted from Raksha Bandhan on Saturday and also held well on Sunday with only Gujarat dropping while other areas remained at Saturday levels. The first three day business of Phantom is as follows.

Friday - 8,25,00,000
Saturday - 12,75,00,000
Sunday - 12,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 33,00,00,000 apprx

The trend over the weekend is pretty good as even if you take out the holiday on Saturday it's a 50% jump from Friday to Sunday and that Friday was aided by evening collections being better due to the holiday. The weekend is the 7th biggest of the year so far.

Phantom had the seventh highest weekend of 2015. The gap between Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the next best is simply huge and it basically tells the story about the box office today where the potential for festive event films is so much higher than the others. The top opening weekends of the year so far are
