I won't comment on the 'replacement' statement you made because I disagree with you there.

As for what you said after, I agree. Script is the hero, but if you've got a lead who can't act for shit it WON'T work as well. So SRK is anything but the 'worst' actor to become famous. He's probably one of the best. I can think of one who's the weakest to have become a famous actor but I don't think anyone who is so incredibly atrocious at acting would have sustained long enough to touch stardom, let alone become famous :|

Hahahahaha...my thoughts exactly. Add Sanjay Dutt to the list too. I prefer Shahrukh because he has done more versatile roles. He can play the role of a villain (Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam), comedic character (Yes Boss, Baadshah), and of course the romantic hero. He earned his success. There are definitely worse actors in the industry who have not shown the same range of acting.

The worst? Not even close. Yes I do think he's pretty average who can do a decent job with a good director and a good script. But calling him the worst to become famous is an exaggeration, and I say this as someone who is not even his fan.

Frankly there is a long list of Bollywood actors and actresses who beat SRK to that title. Current, past their prime, and I say even some future ones.

No he is not!

The man has worked hard to be in the position where he is right now and being an outsider, he would not have survived 2 decades if he was the worst actor of Bollywood. Granted he's been doing junk like HNY since of late but that cannot take away the quality work he has done in the past such as Anjaam, KHKN an so on. Even if you take JTHJ, his acting was sensible but the movie was blah

Yes, it's not hunky dory being his fan when he does bad movies but I'm quite happy that he is finally focusing on sensible and different genres of movies right now. This man is a damn good actor when he really tries and it's unfair to tag him as the worst actor to become famous when his journey of success has been an inspiration to ordinary people who aspire to become actors
