Yes, I read somewhere Adi chopra had a cleft lip as a kid, it was operated upon but u can still see some traces of it in his pics. Hes always been painfully camera shy.

As usual, reaction without reading the interview.

When you read what she said in the context of her full sentence, it will be obvious that she was not taking a dig towards Aditya Chopra. She says that no one in general hides their wedding or engagement news, unless they are a very private person by nature and then she gives the example of Aditya Chopra. Nowhere in her interview has she used the line, 'Only people like Aditya Chopra hide their wedding.' This has been taken totally out of context.

But then, I don't blame any of the members here. Katrina fans do the same when Deepika's interviews comes out, latching onto her one sentence and throwing it out of context. So I guess, this is tit for tat.😆

There was no absolute reason to take his name.
She cld've make her paint without naming anyone, everyone knows that Adi is very private person.
That's why people are reacting...there was no need not to mention stupid to take his name.
Cuz God only knows how will Adi take it.

Trust Journos To take something honestly and innocently said, and try and turn it into a controversial satement.

On this forum alone, forget the general media, ive read SO many comments about how private and mysterious Aditya Chopra is. That one never sees him, does he exist or not, but let a Katrina Kaif mention it, all hell breaks loose.

She said unless someone is as private as Aditya Chopra is, one would want to make public an occasion like a wedding.

No sarcastic hidden dig here, unless one goes digging for it because one wants a dig to ve there. This is Katrina. she doesnt do digs.

Even if she was taking a dig towards Aditya Chopra (which I don't think she was), what is so wrong in that? In fact, its very brave of her, if she was indeed taking a dig at him. Most actors take digs towards lesser actors and people who are in a lower position than they are. And here, Katrina actually has the guts to call out on the most powerful man in the industry.

The reaction on this thread is a bit hypocritical. Otherwise, I have always seen members making fun of Aditya Chopra and throwing all kinds of aspersions on his character. But just because Katrina, an actress whom most members on the forum loathe, says something about him, suddenly he becomes the figure of sympathy?😆

Just read her interview again, preferably without a bias against the actress and you will see that she has not said anything wrong or out of line. The title of this thread is completely misleading. There is no one except Aditya Chopra who married secretly in recent memory and hence she took his name as an example. To imply that only people who are very private by nature prefer not to talk about their relationship or marriage. Not to take a dig at him for god sake!

And before I am accused of being a Katrina fan / sympathizer, let me tell you that one of her fans only a few days ago, accused me of being a xenophobe because I wrote that even after living in India for many years, Katrina has not bothered to learn the national language. I am anything but her fan. But here, she is being accused of something that she has not done. Period.
