Umm hard to say, but since i'm fairly sure Varun's entire fan base will go watch the film, he'll certainly add to it and i don't think it would be fair to say he doesn't deserve credit. Exactly how much of a contribution he's made to the film will only be clear once we've all seen it.

Oh Brothers is not a hit. With a running cost of almost 100 crores, BOI says it is highly unlikely that it will even reach 100 crores. BOI even went as far as saying that the only circuits where Brothers seems to be doing well are the ones where Akshay has influence. (There's an article on this on BOI website)

It should be noted though, that a movie doesn't succeed or fail because of a particular actor. It is because of the movie as a whole, even if one of the actors or directors has a major influence on initial collections.

Varun will definitely add to Dilwale, along with the Christmas factor, SRK-Kajol pairing and Rohit Shetty's goodwill.

Everyone prior to the release claimed it was film with 2 leads with Akshay. And Sid deserved equal if not more credit for Brother's success 😆

So whatever the fate is for Dilwale, should Varun also be given credit along SRK as lead in the film?
