Two of the hottest Bollywood films are reportedly set to release at the same time. Many fans are excited to see their favorite jodi, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol reunite on the big scree in "Dilwale" after a long time. However, at the same time they are also eager to see the steamy chemistry between rumored couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in "Bajirao Mastani."
While this is a major clash waiting to happen in the film industry, SRK is trying everything he can to avoid the two major movies from colliding at the box office. However, Padukone recently tweeted that she is up for the "challenge" and thinks that she can beat King Khan in the film industry.
In response to the news about the clash, Padukone tweeted, "Challenge accepted," but SRK reportedly didn't take this response very well.
A source told a publication that, "Competitiveness is one thing. But you cannot have this attitude towards the man who gave you a break and made you a star. SRK was not happy with her attitude, but he is not the kind to make a public display of his emotions. He launched her and he even set an example with Chennai Express' when he insisted that his leading lady's name come ahead of his."
The source further added that as soon as Padukone found out that SRK was upset with her tweet, she took it down, but many people had already seen the post.
In order to avoid the clash, SRK reportedly met with Eros' head, Kishore Lulla in Los Angeles to sort out the clash between "Dilwale" and "Bajirao Mastani."
"Kishore Lulla flew down to Los Angeles for a meeting with Shah Rukh Khan to discuss if Eros Entertainment could come on board for Dilwale,' produced by SRK's Red Chillies and Rohit Shetty. Lulla discussed a potential collaboration on SRK's film," reported DNA. "Eros is co-producer of SLB's Bajirao Mastani' and a collaboration with Shah Rukh over Dilwale' could sort out the issue of the release date clash between the two films."
While we have yet to hear additional details on the alleged clash, a fan tweeted to Priyanka Chopra about the collision to which she replied, "No in my hand unfortunately."
"Bajirao Mastani," directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and "Dilwale," directed by Rohit Shetty, are both slated for a Christmas release this year in December.
