Akshay needs to start making some good happening cinema. Tired of movies like this, Entertainment, Boss, Baby, and whatever he came out with in the past few years. Only two films I liked were Special 26 and one where he's an army intelligence guy.

I loved his recent Baby and Gabbar is Back. "Special 26"(love it so much), Boss ..it think these all are my kind of movies.

Bourne Identity, Tourist, Salt. I so want Sid to do one of these types. If Bang Bang 2 is offered to Sid I would so want him to do it even if it fails at B.O. Who cares, it's a different kinda good lead role.One has to take the risk of doing good roles even if it's not great from B.O prospects.

On twitter i saw the topic BROTHERS Winning Hearts trending and the first thing that came to my mind was how in cricket a weak loses but always wins hearts. 😆 Here also film is flop but has won hearts. 😆

Brothers Overseas And Worldwide Business

Brothers has not performed well in Overseas, the collections will come in at around the $2.25 million mark as business in Gulf (850k apprx) and Pakistan is pretty good but with US at $400,000 apprx and UK at 175,000 apprx, the film wont be going anywhere.

The Worldwide business will be 80 crore apprx which is the second highest Worldwide collection this year after Bajrangi Bhaijaan but that was a huge 187 crore plus in the first weekend and this is not even half. The next best was ABCD 2 which grossed 72 crore apprx which was 40% less cost than Brothers. It is the highest Worldwide weekend for Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra with their previous best being Rowdy Rathore at 71 crore Ek Villain at 78 crore respectively.

The budget of ABCD 2 is 65cr which is 40% less than Brothers

so it means its somewhere closer to 100cr if not more than 100cr

and verdict doesnt depend on what the makers made if it was that case then Jai ho wouldn't have been a blockbuster

DB_reloaded, BOI always shows different figures than everyone else. Somehow I'm not believing the 100 cr budget for the movie. I don't think everyone in the trade would have said they would have been happy with a box office result of 150cr if the budget alone was at a 100cr or more. Heck, some even said that would be considered a super hit at 140 cr.

Anyway, that's my believe or opinion on this. Movie failed to deliver regardless.

its a complete flop regardless which budget figure u take
