Both still have to work on their skills but Varun for now is more promising than Sid.

varun has a modulation problem (almost half of newcomers have the same problen except ranbir and adi). and i am bias towards varun so i liked him in badlapur but acting is subjective .no u r not the only one . i know few people who think varun was good but nothing special in badlapur . oh ya anushka was awesome in nh10 otherwise she brings her noth indian bubbly girl role in almost every movies
like she did in BV . I liked varun in abcd 2 but i dint find him charming it was shradha who surprised me .

He was quite fun to watch in galat baat hain or palat ( haven't watched abcd2) but handsome? Na..not for me.

I haven't watched Brothers yet. Bt I still prefer Varun. Sid is very handsome though but he needs more variety though in his films. And really comments about direction, editing and what not shouldn't take away from a performance, quite frankly I found Abcd 2 hell of a boring, it was a very disappointed film there was no storyline, those side actors bored me, I only wanted to see vd dance more and act more bt all I saw was those sidies. But what impressed me was that limited screen time but when he came onscreen there was something amazing about him, his performance was too good. He has a lot of work to do though his voice modulation needs to be worked on, he got to learn to cry better. But he is too goodbadlapur 3rd film what an actor he can only get better. Vd is naturally talented, has the necessary drive and is hardworking its a killer combo. But I wnt count sid out either this guy is hardworking he is going places and I think variety is key for the guy. But these 2 are not safe the newcomers the Tigers and the Pancholi's are coming they can act, dance and good looking(subjective I know) they have to keep on making an impact bad performances will not do at this stage
