Many immigrants do not consider a foreign country their home at all. They have strong bonds with their native country and the only reason they are abroad is for a living. Now I have no idea how much affinity Katrina has with India, but as Hajmola mentioned, if she truly felt a connection to our country, the first thing she would have done was try and learn the national language.

There are in numerous foreign born citizens who have made India their home and they can all speak not just Hindi but multiple other Indian languages.

Just imagine, an Indian actor in Hollywood who is unable to speak in English outside of his work.

Katrina after 10+ years in India still cant form a sentence in any native Indian language. Many foreigners can speak Indian languages very well. And if I dont have much language skills then I would atleast try and assimilate myself in the foreign country. What has she really done to try and act Indian?

She is here not because she feels an connection to India but because its a workplace for her. Such people follow the law and mostly mind their own business...and thats what she does.

She has indian friends, indian boyfriend, represent bollywood in international platform and even goes to temples and mosques to pray when her releases are coming. Heck, the other say she also organized a puja in her house. That I would say is a very assimilated person.

I am no Kattu fan but I agree with this, people need to get off her case. I believe she is fairly integrated and assimilated in India. I can understand why she is hesitating to talk in Hindi in interviews as people make fun of her accent and pronunciation, but that doesn't change the fact that she can speak Hindi period.
I am of Indian origin and I don't like speaking Hindi or any other Indian language even with my family members as I have an accent.

Kattu is miles better than Salman's newest white flair Vantur, she's the one doesn't bother getting to know his culture. 🤢

As for Saifu, he is Indian period, he may be British at heart, but then again so am I. I am South American/Brazilian at heart and everyone knows this. I have strong interest in Latin American culture, food, history everything.
