Anushka Sharma to choose her next with Navdeep Singh

Navdeep Singh gave Anushka Sharma an NH10 and helped her showcase her acting prowess to the world. They are teaming up again but this time it's not for the NH10 sequel, as per reports. "I don't know where the news of NH10's sequel have been coming. I am not making any such film. Even Anushka has not heard of NH12 at all," Navdeep confirms.

But the director reveals that he's indeed planning his other projects. "I have a film lined up called Kaneda. Actually, I don't know why people keep referring Kaneda as a comedy. It is a gangster drama and is not as intense as NH10 was. It's a love story," Navdeep tells us. Unlike his last film, this won't be set in the rural milieu. "Kaneda is set in Canada so it's a more urban story. It was always a coincidence that my first two films had a rural backdrop. It wasn't a conscious effort on our part."

There's another film he's working on, he confirms. "That is a spy thriller. Let's see which hits the floors first," he smiles. The director informs that discussions are on with actors' for both the films. "Anushka will be producing one of the films. We have had talks already," Navdeep tells us. Will she be acting in it too? "Yes, she will act in the one she produces. But we are still discussing and it's all in a very early stage, so I don't know which of the two will have her."
