I liked her Rani as Tina.
I can't seem to imagine anyone as Tina except Rani.

Aishwarya. She has the looks and personality to drive the boys nuts had she played the college girl's role. I actually found Rani very average looks wise in the movie and wondered what Rahul saw in her. Looks wise you know 😆

The role of Tina did not require any real talent. The role was bare minimal. Plus, Rani cannot be termed as sexy (she is beautiful but not sexy) per me thus the whole boys going gaga thing felt a bit ermm, trying too hard to make the role stand out sorta thing. All Tina did was die and then wrote a letter to her daughter and had a crying moment in the end with Anjali to say well done for adhering to my letter.😆

According to me any actresses could have essayed that role.

Anyone who could have carried a miniskirt well. That movie had no scope for Tina. It was mainly about SRK and Kajol.

And despite all the flaws people are pointing out with the role, she bagged two awards for best supporting actress. Not to mention she became recognized because of this role. I agree the film was more about Rahul and Anjali. But without the role of Tina, KKHH wouldn't have been the same. Even Aman's role was beautifully added in.
