Why Can't We Pull a Gangnam Style?

Bollywood's been around for ages, and it's got really great international reach too. People know of Indian actresses/actors, some musicians..

So why hasn't there been a massively viral Indian music video/clip successful on Youtube?

Why did Gangnam Style become as successful as it did, being a Korean production?

Just like why non-Hollywood films cannot pull a BB or a PK in terms of scale and collections.

India has a separate identity and different tastes. Korea has its own traits.

I'm pleased that typical Indian flicks still do Blockbuster business over wanna-be Holly flicks like BV or DDD. Shows how grounded India is in its film culture.

Ppl in India loves movie over music,for them music is part of movie.Unlike koreans where entire nation thrive for their music idols.
