I had opened a topic on this 2 weeks that because I was wondering how can an international business donate only 11 crore in 1.5 years if all profit goes to charity.

Thanks for the clarification.

For those saying Salman does it alone with no donations, that is false and I am copying my answer to that form the other thread.

Karan donated 5 lakhs in 2011, when Salman asked it as fees for coming on the show. Karan told Salman he can't pay for his appearance, since he does not pay other celebrities. Salman did not do that season of Koffee with Karan, but Karan still donated.

Even on SRK's show Sabse Shaana Kaun, Karan Johar donated hsi share of the winning amount to Being Human.

I understand he pays salaries etc., which is why I said Net Profit.
It is hard to believe that in 1.5 years, despite a successful business and other celebrities donating, they could only donate 11 crores. I doubt the net profit is that low.

Franchising doesn't lead to such low profits, that despite other celebrities contributing and apparently Salman also form personal earnings., they got 11 crores in 1.5 years. So,, how much was from business? 5 crores only.

I think Salman instead of endorsing Being Human brand, which is getting so low returns for the foundation, should instead just do 1 extra endorsement for a product and he can donate a lot more than this amount and they will not even have to mislead people.

People who have doubt in mind can go donate in some other NGOs 😃 Being Human don't force anyone to buy stuffs..

In India it's quite popular these days.. We have Being Human carrybags also now in Retail Showrooms and all 😊

When people donate for charity they know 97% will go toward charity and 3% toward administrative work and not other way round.

its the fact...check the previous pages... Mandhana industries taking maximum profit in the name of charity. Celebs promote being human for multiple reason, first they want to be on the good books of Salman and second they want to show they are generous people supporting for good cause.

So those who say garment sale isnt making any profit can read this, its from Mandhana industries annual report "Our improved EBITDA margin benefits from the increase in the sales of our Being Human garments which showed a strong tripling of growth from ' 45 crores in FY 2012-13 to ' 131 crores in FY 2013-14."

Its a public charitable trust, yeah nobody is forcing people to buy stuff but there are 1000''s of people who donate everyday in the name of charity and it should be 100% transparent. Something like this

Either way his sentence was going to reduce from 10 to 5 to possiby 3 due to lack of evidence and the fact he has not been in any shit post this case. Even if 15 people give their statement on his character that they know him, he is nice etc. It's enough to reduce his sentence.

and i fail to see how being human helps his image. :/ When he helps a certain Zaina and builds her a home up in Kashmir, he didn't take Being Humans name...

When he gave a couple guys work as spot boys on the set of bajrangi, so they can earn a little money , he didn't use being human names

anyways each to own! we have our own understandings of things and can't really impose on each other. good look sulking.
