If you're a producer, you can either wait 3 years for Salman/SRK, 5 years for Aamir or make 2 films with Akshay in the same time frame.

Akki is as irreplaceable as any of the Khans when its all said and done. He might bring in a 100 Cr profit in 2 films instead of 1 but at the end of the day they're contributing just as much to the Bollywood economy.

Why don't producers wait for poor Akki for 3-5 years as they do for Khans?

Does YRF or Vinod Chopra Films not want profit that they wait for Khans instead of picking Akki?

And sorry, Akki doesn't get paid as much as Khans per film.

I am indifferent to Akshay.

His fans are obsessed though in trying to prove other stars inferior and proving him comparable though he is not.

I don't care about him enough to love or hate him. I only like few Akki films. Otherwise I don't care what he does or doesn't.

It's indeed curious why despite looks, fitness, popularity, work ethic etc he never had huge banners, filmmakers coming to him or even good films making that much money (I genuinely believe OMG was superior to PK), or why festival holiday didn't benefit him.

In profit sharing, Khans also do that and they draw more than Akshay. He is nowhere near to them and that's a fact on which you and Akki fans in general remain in denial. Take out any list. Akki is behind them. Rather people say he doesn't even deserve what he gets paid (HT article).

Anyway, Akshay does not get paid equally as much as Khans per film and that's a fact.

Tax payer list is not just based on income from films. This is why even Amitabh ranks high there though he is irrelevant now. In past Mithun was top tax payer just because of his business.

Tax payer list has nothing to do with stardom or your position in industry or whether banners or directors have you on wish list or not.

Whenever a star fails, his fans bring in excuse of tax lists to defend him!

Personal life is another excuse that is brought to call someone better.

Naainsafi is indeed there as no Hirani, Chopra or big directors or banners cast Akshay. No film becomes biggest hit despite fan following. Even festival doesn't help his film (TMK). Even his good film doesn't do as well as it deserves. So unfairness has been there.

For Dhoom also YRF would rather take a tingu than the lord of action. That's odd. Why no bigshot approaches him?!
