We all know that Aamir Khan is a perfectionist. To prepare for his role of the wrestler Mahavir Phogat, the actor has gained 22 kgs.
And now as the film is set to roll in September, Aamir met Phogat's real daughters Babita (left) and Geeta (right) to learn their views about their father and how he groomed them and trained them in wrestling.
As per a spokesperson, "Aamir was very keen to meet them, and all of their schedules finally matched. So the girls came down to Mumbai. Aamir was a gracious host and ensured that they were taken care of. It was an emotional meeting for the trio. They discussed Mahavir's life, what he had taught the girls, and more."

'Dangal' is based on the life of the Haryana wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who went against the convention and tradition of a conservative society to teach wrestling to his two daughters, Geeta and Babita Phogat. The daughters did their father proud when Geeta became the first Indian wrestler to win gold at 2010 Commonwealth Games. Babita won the silver medal.
Elaborating on the reason behind Aamir Khan's meeting with Geeta and Babita, the spokesperson said, "He wants to understand his (Mahavir's) personality before starting to shoot for the film. The trio had a long conversation, where the girls provided him with insight into their own respective journeys and their lifestyle back home. They stayed in the city for a couple of days and are excited to see how the film will turn out."
Dangal' will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It will release around Christmas in 2016.
