@Blue
You know our man can ACT if he really tries. Too bad he prefers comfort over quality. Wonder what he'll do post Raees. He better not work with Farah on her crappy crap

Sanjeev Kumar was the only actor in Hindi cinema who was truly versatile.

No one else comes close. Sanjeev K even used to change his voice as per the role.

I am amused at Aamir fans calling Raees another masala film. For them even Aamir's trash is sublime. Or deluge of message films means versatility.

It is too early to judge Raees for now. But yes it is a departure from usual SRK stuff so it is worth looking forward to.

Yep...being a mainstream actor he's amazing. For successful actors it's hard to come out from their specific genre because they have a lot to lose. Baadshahs have a lot to risk when they experiment...historically.
And yep SRK is the most versatile among the successful stars(except amitabh) but yet... and truely its not as if versatility is something indians admire... I mean there are always four or five amazing different movies, and what happen to them...!!
But yes I guess if there are actors who can play really different role and make them successful... are just two. SRK and Amitabh... even Amitabh has started doing these roles now...So there are lot of chances of redemption for SRK. But yeah from a maniac lover, to a simple scientist, to an anguished coach...he can do anything. Just he needs to get out of some "friends'' clutches...

True he sucks at comedy! He hams and overacts so much! Until and unless there is a firm hand of director over his head to calm him down he can't control himself from going overboard! 😆 Sooraj Bharjatiya has let him loose like a canon😆 He tries too hard to be funny but fails in #epic way! The day Hrithik does subtle comedy without making me cringe then I'll agree about being versatile!

SRK...yeah... almost versatile, I would say... He is a good actor when he wants to be!

SRK is not a versatile actor as I don't think he is good in comedy and period films but I am excited for Raees with SRK in stubble any given day.
